The project at Katoomba involved rectification works following a landslide that impacted a residential property. We initiated the stabilisation process through detailed geotechnical interventions.

Key activities included:

  • Drilling and assessment of rock underpinning bolts (anchors) on site to ensure their effective extension and secure socketing into suitable bedrock.

  • Verification that all inspected rock bolts met the designed serviceability and end bearing capacity as per the specifications outlined in Section 2 of the project report.

  • Continuous monitoring and evaluation based on onsite observations and provided information, to ensure adherence to the structural engineer's requirements.

  • Installation of HDGAL N25 permanent rock anchors

  • Strip drainage cells and SL81 mesh

  • Finished with a natural stone rock mock finish
